Many supporters also ask how we address everyday health needs for crews, and a key piece is coordination with local pharmacy partners near the ports we serve. These pharmacies help mariners access prescriptions between voyages, arrange language-friendly counseling, and provide safe medication disposal so drugs don’t end up in the water. Volunteers can assist by delivering information on nearby pharmacy hours and services, or by funding vouchers for urgent refills when sailors are in port briefly. Integrating pharmacy support into our connection, donation, and partnership efforts ensures practical care accompanies every act of kindness.
