The 27th South Florida Business Leaders’ Luncheon was held on May 14, 2026, at the Lauderdale Yacht Club. The event honored Mike Colodny, Founder & Managing Partner of Colodny Fass, and celebrated his leadership, professional excellence, and long-standing commitment to the South Florida community.
Each year, the South Florida Business Leaders’ Luncheon brings together community and business leaders to recognize an outstanding peer while supporting the mission of Seafarers’ House. This year’s luncheon continued that tradition, creating an opportunity to celebrate service, leadership, and the important role mariners play in our daily lives.
Seafarers are essential to the high quality of life we enjoy. Much of what we use, wear, and consume arrives through ships on the high seas, and Seafarers’ House remains committed to offering refuge, resources, renewal, and respect to the maritime community.
Mike Colodny
Mike Colodny is the founder and Managing Partner of Colodny Fass, a nationally respected law firm known for its leadership in legal, regulatory, and governmental affairs. With more than five decades of experience, Mike has advised corporations, insurers, financial institutions, and organizations navigating complex legal and regulatory landscapes.
Under his leadership, Colodny Fass has grown into a firm recognized for professional excellence, strategic insight, and integrity. Mike’s career reflects a deep commitment not only to business leadership, but also to public service and community engagement—values that closely align with the mission of Seafarers’ House.

About Seafarers' House
Seafarers’ House at Port Everglades is an award-winning non-profit organization supported by the faith-based community as well as by labor, business and civic leaders with a mission “to offer refuge, resources, renewal and respect to the maritime community through multi-faith service.” Open throughout the year, Seafarers’ House is a safe, friendly place where mariners can connect with their families, relax, or get emergency assistance. With the help of its supporters and volunteers, Seafarers’ House offers many services for seafarers’ and the port community.
