Shoebox Christmas
During the months of November and December, Seafarers’ House hopes to hand out as many as 3,000 wrapped "shoeboxes" (actually clear plastic bags this year for COVID-19 safety!) filled with socks, toiletries, and holiday cheer to the seafarers who come from all over the world into our Port Everglades. This year we'll be delivering at the gangway, but you can still help! Collect gift cards, send toiletries, and make cards! They are all so very far away from home and family during the holidays and these small gifts mean so much!
And we need your help starting right NOW to prepare!

Underwrite the cost of these special gifts.
- $12 supports the cost of a wrapped shoebox gifts of toiletry and important items to mariners
- $22 supports the cost of a complete shoebox gift plus $10 Sim Card to help a mariner connect with their family
100% of your donation will go to purchase needed items for the shoebox delivery or the purchase of phone cards (at a special discount) to include inside every shoebox. The importance of that phone call home to loved ones at Christmas cannot be overstated!
Donations of PPE, individual sized sanitizer, etc...are welcome and will be distributed to seafarers.
