Bringing Music to Marooned Seafarers

Our mission to aid seafarers stranded in South Florida continues to grow.  As of this week, we’re working with care teams to support 55 seafarers throughout Fort Lauderdale and Miami.  Thanks to the generous support of our business and faith-based community, we’ve been able to bring homemade food and a bit of fellowship to the seafarers.  This week Pastor Steve stopped by the hotel to worship and pray through music!  He’s often found in our Casa ministering through music, usually with his guitar.  This time he brought an accordion and played several tunes for the seafarers who are stuck in their rooms.  Our COVID-19 Emergency Fund has raised more than $10,000 so far to care for these marooned seafarers as well as provide assistance, care, and support to the thousands of seafarers located aboard their vessels.  To give to our emergency fund, please click here.
