Seafarers' House held a memorial service to honor the 33 crew members of the El Faro presumed lost at sea. Approximately 175 people attended the service at Port Everglades.
We at Seafarers' House express our sincere appreciation to: Broward County Port Everglades Department, Broward Sheriff's Office Fire Rescue, Broward Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement, Broward Sheriff's Office Honor Guard Bell Ringer, Captain of the Port, U.S. Coast Guard Color Guard- Station Fort Lauderdale, Rabbi Larry Schuval, Pastor Paul Schweinler, Musicians: Chris Painter, Rio Frost and Caitlin Frost, and Bob Ritchie for helping to create a meaningful and poignant memorial.
