REFUND POLICY FOR EVENT REGISTRATION
All refund requests should be submitted in writing and sent by mail or fax for receipt in our offices 10 days prior to the event. A $10 processing fee will be assessed for all refunds.
Seafarers’ House shall not be responsible, in any way, for any personal inconveniences whatever that arise or may arise from cancellation of events. In case of event cancellation, the liability of the Seafarers’ House organization is limited to the fees already paid by the registrants. If registrants choose to convert their fees to donations to Seafarers' House, those fees are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
Seafarers’ House is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. A copy of the official registration and information may be obtained from the Division of Consumer Services by calling toll free 1-800-435-7352 within the State of Florida. Registration does not imply endorsement, approval or recommendation by the state.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Participants in Seafarers' House events knowingly, freely and voluntarily assume all liability for any damage or injury which may occur as a result of participation in said events and agree to release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Seafarers’ House, its officers, agents, employees, and volunteers for any and all liability or claims which may be sustained by participants or a third party directly or in the activity, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of Seafarers' House or any of its agents, employees, officers, directors, members, volunteers and or affiliates.

Information Collection
SFH acquires, stores and transmits donor communications and information that may be regarded as private or sensitive. This information - such as the donor's name, address, telephone number, and credit card data - is provided to SFH by its supporters. SFH will protect the confidentiality of its donors' information, account information and personal communications to the fullest extent possible and consistent with the law and the legitimate interests of SFH, its partners, and its employees. To protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information that is collected from customers, SFH has appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in place.
E-Mail Addresses
This website collects your e-mail address for the sole purpose of sending donation and/or registration confirmations and communicating with you about future events. SFH will not disclose, sell, trade, rent, or otherwise reveal your e-mail address to any entity.
Security
In addition to utilizing third-party SSL encryption for all donor/registrant information, the Card Security Code is only used for credit card processing and is not stored on SFH’s servers.
